Notifications in Zaptiva: Overview and User Guide

1. Notifications in Zaptiva

Notifications in Zaptiva help users stay informed about important activities, updates, and system events in real-time. These alerts ensure that users never miss critical actions such as Renewal Subscription status, Connection Sync status, Flow Execution status, New team member Signup status etc.

2. Types of Notifications

Push Notification

Push notifications are messages generated by the system that appear within the application to inform users about updates, activities, or important information in real time.
Push notifications can be accessed from the bell icon located at the top-right corner of the dashboard, near your profile.

Email Notification

Email notifications are alerts sent via email that provide users with information about events, updates, or activities even when they are not using the application.
Email notifications can be viewed in your registered email inbox.

3. Global Notification Settings

Global notification settings allow users to enable or disable notifications (email and push) at the account level.

 How to Access the Global Notification Settings

  1. Navigate to the URL: https://app.zaptiva.com/

  2. Log in to your Zaptiva account and access the Dashboard.

  3. Click on your Profile icon, then select the Settings option.

  4. On the Notification Settings page, you can enable or disable notifications using the toggle button.

4. Flow-Level Notification Settings

Flow-level notifications allow users to control notifications for specific flows, enabling better control over which flow activities trigger alerts.

How to Configure Flow-Level Notifications

  1. Navigate to the Flows section in Zaptiva.

  2. Locate the desired flow and click on the Edit option to open it.

  3. On the flow page, you will see a bell icon (disabled by default) near the toggle button.

  4. To receive email and push notifications upon flow completion, click on the bell icon to enable it before executing the flow.

  5. Once the flow execution is completed, you will receive both push and email notifications.

  6. The push notification provides a short summary, while the email notification contains detailed information such as run status, total operations, and success and failure records.
