QuickBooks Web Connector (QBWC) is an application that allows external web applications to communicate with QuickBooks Desktop.
It acts as a bridge between QuickBooks Desktop and third-party applications such as Zaptiva.
The Web Connector allows applications to:
Send data to QuickBooks
Receive data from QuickBooks
Sync records automatically
Schedule automated data transfers
Using Web Connector, Zaptiva can export Purchase Orders to QuickBooks Desktop automatically.
The communication happens through a .QWC file (QuickBooks Web Connector configuration file).
User downloads the .QWC file from the application (e.g., Zaptiva).
The file is opened in QuickBooks Web Connector.
The application is added to the Web Connector list.
Web Connector communicates with QuickBooks through SOAP web services.
Data synchronization runs either:
Manually
Automatically through Auto Run
Click on Window Start Search.
Search for QuickBooks Web Connector.
Click to open the application.
To manually sync data:
Open QuickBooks Web Connector
Check the checkbox next to the application name
Click Update Selected
Web Connector will now start syncing data with QuickBooks.
The Auto Run feature allows Web Connector to run automatically at specific intervals without manual intervention.
Each application has a Schedule (Auto Run time)
Web Connector automatically runs the integration after the specified interval.

Zaptiva | Every 10 minutes |
